REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Please ensure you read this before submitting your Application.
AUDITION NOTES:
  1. You will be notified at least 6 days prior to the event on Saturday 7th August if your act has been selected for the competition.
  2. The date and time of your audition will be forwarded to you by 31st July 2010.
  3. Your act should last no more than 5 MINUTES.
  4. Acts will be required to complete and submit this registration form prior to auditioning.
  5. Please bring a copy of your completed registration form with you to the audition.
  6. Acts will be auditioned on a first-come first-served basis, and you may be asked to wait for a long while.
  7. If you are bringing music to perform your act, please ensure that you have this ready on CD/MD and that you know which track number you need played
  8. You must provide any other equipment that is essential for you to complete your act. A dance floor will not be provided, so dancers must ensure that they wear appropriate footwear.
  9. If your act requires the use of specialist equipment (for example, drum kit, amp, or any electrical equipment) you will be responsible for bringing such equipment and are responsible for ensuring that such equipment is safe and/or suitable for its purposes.
  10. There may be some restrictions on the type of equipment that can be used at certain audition locations. If you intend to bring any equipment along with you please contact us in advance so that we can advise which audition slot would be most appropriate.
  11. We cannot guarantee that you will be offered an audition.
  12. There will be 3-4 elimination rounds dependent on the number of entrants. Prior notice will be given after the closing date 31st July 2010
  13. A panel of judges will conduct the auditions.
  14. It is important that your contact details are correct, and that you give us an alternative contact, so that we can contact you to let you know if you have been successful in following the auditions.
  15. All applicants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. One key organiser, parent or guardian can accompany the act to the audition area. If you have any access needs, you should let us know in advance or at the registration point on the day.
  16. THE GRAND FINAL:
    A small selection of successful acts will be invited back to perform on the main stage at the event in front of the public audience and special guests on Saturday 7th August 2010.

    The acts will be judged by a celebrity panel of judges. The finalists will chosen by the judges and the winner will be chosen by public participation.
